Walking east from Grand Central Terminal, I wouldn't expect to find bars that catered to the 20-30 year old crowd. That's something I would expect to find in Manhattan's Lower East Side. But Calico Jack's Cantina is one of those East Midtown bars that features cheap drinks, loud noise, and crowded floor space - not my favorite combination. Still, the evening was enjoyable as I got to join my cousins and their numerous friends for some late-night fun!

About Me

- Name: NeatEngine
- Location: Long Island, New York, United States
After a three-year stint in graduate school for cultural anthropology at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, I moved back to Long Island, NY where I accepted a job position at my former school. I'm a political and news junkie that enjoys cooking, eating, playing chamber music, and attending concerts (when they're cheap or free, I believe the music is even more beautiful!).
