A short 7-minute walk from the school, the Adelphi Delicatessen is the neighborhood deli that's been around forever. There are no "kids" behind the counter here. These are learned Irish and Italian men who study the fine art of sandwich-making. I'm always trying something new on their menu with the hope of someday finding "my usual." Today's "Triple Mess" will definitely NOT be "my usual." This 3-egg, sausage, bacon, ham sandwich is a perscription for a serious heart attack. Perhaps a better name would be the "Triple by-pass." Yet despite the warnings, I ordered it anyway.
